Assessment & awards:

To successfully progress through this course, you need to complete the pre-assessment, course content, and the post-assessment of each module.

About

IAS – the International AIDS Society - has developed an e-learning course on differentiated service delivery (DSD) for health ministry staff, programme implementers, HIV advocates, civil society and others engaged in the HIV response.

After completing this course, you should have a well-rounded understanding of DSD and how it can be provided to clients established on treatment, as well as to specific populations. You should also be able to understand how it can be leveraged for integration of other health services, for clients re-engaging in HIV care and how to implement differentiated pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

The course contains six modules that can be taken separately. A certificate is delivered upon completion of all the modules and the survey.

Module 1: Differentiated service delivery for HIV treatment: The basics

Module 2: DSD for HIV treatment for people established on treatment

Module 3: DSD for HIV treatment for specific populations

Module 4: Integration of other health needs into DSD for HIV treatment

Module 5: DSD for clients re-engaging in HIV care

Module 6: DSD for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)

Benefits

Participants will:

  1. Gain or refresh a well-rounded understanding of key concepts of DSD, its evolution, how it can be applied across the HIV care cascade, and how it can be leveraged for integration with other health services.
  2. Gain advanced DSD knowledge (based on evidence from implementation science studies).
  3. Network with peers and experts on context-specific DSD issues.

I am enjoying the contnet so far. However, I have completed module 1, 2 and 3 in full and taken all pre and post course tests but only module 1 shows 100% completion. Module 2 shows 90% while module 3 shows 88% completion. I am now on module 4 but still no change. I have also gone through the problematic modules to ensure all individual components in each are completed as required and they all show 100% completion unlike the total module completion percentage. What can I do to fix this ? I am worried because I fear I may not get the certificate at the end due to this erroneous computation of course completion. Please help.

Dear Patrick, I'm sorry to hear you're facing this issue. As long as you have completed all elements, you will still be able to access your certificate of completion at the end of the course, even if the percentages don't appear correctly. If you face any issues in the future, please reach out to plus@iasociety.org. Thank you!
