Current state of the HIV cascade in EECA

Stela Bivol is the Unit Lead for Joint Infectious Disease at the WHO Regional Office for Europe. A health professional and manager, she has led development initiatives in communicable diseases, health systems strengthening, and key populations programs and extensive consultancy experience in the EECA region. Stela holds an MPH in International Health and Epidemiology from Boston University and a medical degree from N Testemiteanu State Medical and Pharmaceutical University in Moldova. Fluent in English, Russian, and French, she has led international health programs in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. She is also a Women in Global Health LEAD Fellow at Harvard School of Public Health.
