In the six months following US government policy shifts and cuts to foreign aid, various adaptive strategies have emerged within countries and internationally to maintain affordable access to essential HIV commodities and services. This session will explore these strategies, highlighting successful approaches and lessons learned. The session will also explore steps needed to ensure monitoring, continuation and scale-up of HIV testing, treatment, and prevention efforts. Drawing on assessments from government and civil society, speakers will discuss potential strategies that could be implemented or scaled to mitigate risks and sustain progress in the HIV response.
