IAS – the International AIDS Society – organized this webinar, titled “How communities are using evidence-based advocacy to reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination”, on 20 June. This webinar aimed to personalize data through human stories, illustrating the real-world implications of healthcare and human rights findings on people living with HIV. It is the first in the series, “Shifting mindsets: A webinar series on stigma”. The panellists focused on strategies and best practices for interventions to eliminate HIV-related stigma and discrimination. The webinar highlighted successful advocacy campaigns and provided practical guidance on developing effective advocacy strategies.
