Politics: How to make robust HIV policies happen

This session will focus on how policy decisions are taken at different levels of political decision making: ministry of health; national parliament; and local government. It will also focus on advocacy at the global level. The format will be that of a discussion between four panellists representing these different levels of decision making, moderated by a knowledgeable journalist, followed by a Q&A with the audience. The session should provide civil society and community advocates with insights on the mechanisms of political decision making to help them design relevant advocacy strategies.
