Viral hepatitis: Not gone, not forgotten

WHO’s current global strategy targets are to eliminate the global threat of viral hepatitis by 2030 by driving new acquisitions down by 90% and deaths by 65%. The session will focus on the WHO 2024 HBV guidelines with updated recommendations, including simplified hepatitis diagnostics (using point-of-care assays), service delivery and implementation of treatment. The session will also share best practices and progress in Hepatitis C elimination.
