Dr. Callaghan is a global health advocacy, communications, and policy leader with over 20 years' experience working across countries in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe. She is currently Executive Director, Public Affairs at Gilead Sciences, as Global Head of Advocacy, Community Engagement, and International Corporate Social Responsibility.

Larkin previously served as Director of Communications at the AIDS Research Institute, Managing Director of the UCSF-Gladstone Center for AIDS Research, Global Health Programs Director at Stanford University, and Director of Implementation of the PEPFAR-ICAP PHIA Project. As a UN correspondent, she worked with country missions, ambassadors, press teams, covering sociopolitical issues in the global south. She has taught graduate courses at Columbia, UCSF, and Stanford. 

Larkin received her master's, doctorate, and post-doctoral training from Columbia University. She serves on the Board of Directors of Komera, SisterLove, the Ginetta Sagan Fund of Amnesty International, and the UCSF Malaria Elimination Initiative.  She co-chaired the AIDS2020 Local Planning Group, serving HIV communities represented at the 2020 International AIDS Conference.

Charity Mkona is a passionate advocate and feminist with a strong commitment to the rights and well-being of women, particularly WLHIV. She has dedicated many years to advancing gender equality and social justice, focusing on improving the lives of WLHIV through advocacy, policy reform, and public health initiatives. She currently serves as the Board Chairperson of ICW Global, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on advocacy and empowerment for PLHIV. With extensive experience in HIV response and management, Charity has been at the forefront of shaping effective strategies and programs aimed at improving access to healthcare and promoting awareness. Her diverse expertise spans project management, global health, and community-based development, making her a passionate and influential leader in the field. She has been a vocal leader in addressing the unique challenges faced by women in the context of HIV, as she continues to push for better access to healthcare, legal protections, and social support systems for women affected by HIV, advocating for their voices to be heard and their needs to be prioritized in health and human rights policies.

My name is Rosine IZABAYO, I am  a passionate public health advocate and Program Officer at IMRO
Rwanda, where I lead initiatives supporting adolescent girls and young women,
particularly teen mothers living with HIV. With over 3 years of experience in community
engagement, SRHR advocacy, and psychosocial support, I have been
instrumental in developing and implementing SRHR and HIV prevention programs that
empower young women to reclaim their dignity and access life-saving services. I am  a
champion for the rights of women and girls. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law
and am currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Global Health.
