Breaking the silos and building synergies through community led monitoring - a community based approach to improve comprehensive HIV service delivery in India

Kim Hauzel has over 14+ years of experience and accomplishments in managing and implementing Public Health Programmes, specifically under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP). She is currently leading the USAID funded Community Led Monitoring project in 3 States, namely-Delhi Maharashtra and Telangana under the Foundation BU of Sattva. She has been managing and implementing Public Health Programmes, under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP). Prior to working in Sattva, she led the CLM pilot initiatives implemented by Swasti-The Health Catalysts. Further,  she also led the Technical Support Unit of the State AIDS Control Society implemented by HLFPPT across the 9 States. Additionally,  in the capacity of a Project Director, she led the Vihaan Care Support Centres project under GFATM, which is catering to the PLHIV community in Kerala and Telangana. Besides, she has also worked with Delhi Police Project “Parivartan” to provide a safe and violence-free environment to women and girl child in Delhi. She  has a Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law from Indian Society in International Law, coupled with a Master’s Degree in Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi.
