Dr Anna Bowring is a public health researcher working with Burnet Institute’s Optima group on HIV and TB modelling to inform impactful health programs in resource-limited settings.

Janki is a biologist and global health professional whose work bridges the biomedical and sociopolitical dimensions of HIV treatment and prevention. As a data analyst at AVAC, she has led the Global PrEP Tracker and examined the qualitative drivers behind successful PrEP scale-up across countries. Her current work spans both HIV and menstrual health, with a continued focus on equity and data-driven impact.

Lila Sheira, PhD MPH is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Sheira has 10+ years experience working in community health research settings related to HIV and STI prevention, randomized controlled trials, HIV health, and sexual and reproductive health.

Dr Kate Rees is a Public Health Medicine Specialist. She works for Anova Health Institute providing technical support for the delivery of HIV and TB services, and serves as an Honorary Lecturer in the School of Public Health at Wits University.
