This closing session asks how communities can govern, not just adapt to the digital systems increasingly shaping the HIV response. Artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and data-driven tools are being deployed into prevention, treatment and advocacy at speed, often without meaningful community involvement. Findings from ITPC’s first-of-its-kind global community pulse on AI in HIV, conducted across our Global Activist Network in May-June 2026, will anchor the discussion. The session examines how community-led monitoring, digital rights frameworks, and platform accountability can ensure that the next generation of HIV response is not only more technologically advanced but also more equitable, more accountable and more community-governed.
