The traditional global health emergency effort of prevention, detection and response honed during the HIV epidemic and collectively known as "global health security" (GHS) is in a period of recalibration. Moving forward, resources are being aligned to leverage the innovations that came out of the COVID-19 pandemic to inform a more resilient response to the next emerging threats. At the same time, stakeholders at the national level and community leaders are iterating and recalibrating the HIV response within the broader GHS movement. Evidence-informed HIV policy and financing roadmaps, integrated information systems tracking data across infectious diseases and last mile efforts contingent on a strengthened workforce are important considerations and drive planning. Join this session to learn about trends, new approaches and case studies to help inform the path forward.
