The 12th Symposium builds on over a decade of meetings dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents born HIV-free to women living with HIV, an estimated global population of nearly 16 million./pp/ppThis session titled “Identifying risk and supporting families: Lessons from other programmes” focuses on the early identification of vulnerable children through screening tools and lessons from other programmes, while exploring community-based platforms for long-term follow-up of children with perinatal HIV exposure. It also includes a panel discussion on how integrated systems can better identify children at risk and support families.
